After learning about these physical signs, I will teach you how to relax your mind or body to better cope with your symptoms of stress. Biofeedback is great for anxiety, cravings, and attention difficulty. Biofeedback can also assist with pain, muscle tension, and blood flow issues leading to cold hands and feet.

Meditation is a technique you use to train the brain to relax, focus on the body or breath or other focal point, and enter into a calm state. Meditation is useful in treating anxiety, cravings, attention difficulty, and numerous other challenges. You can meditate anywhere, and meditation is very helpful when done consistently, even for a few brief moments.

Mindfulness is a skill that uses attentive practice to develop awareness. This technique is useful in helping us reflect on our thoughts and reactions. Mindfulness helps us feel more in control, and takes us off “auto-pilot”. We control our thoughts, instead of feeling like our thoughts control us.
