Anxiety is a word we hear all the time. So much so that you may try to convince yourself that the feelings are normal and you just have to live with them. Have you been feeling anxious? Do you feel like you worry more than you used to? With so much going on in the world, many of us are struggling with concerns about the future, and nervousness in our day to day routines. Do you find yourself experiencing thoughts you can’t get rid of? Maybe you are experiencing negative thoughts or feeling down much of the time.

Anxiety can take the form of:

  • feeling nervous
  • uncertainty
  • lack of confidence
  • anger
  • jittery feeling
  • physical discomfort
  • feeling frozen
  • panic

Often anxiety can be accompanied by depression, which can bring on:

  • sadness
  • low energy
  • lack of interest
  • isolation
  • hopelessness

These are not thoughts and feelings that you have to live with, and therapy can help you feel more in control of your mind.
