Reiki Classes for Mental Health
Have you been thinking of incorporating holistic alternatives into your practice? Reiki can add positive energy, warmth, and unique intention to your sessions. Reiki is also an excellent self healing and self care technique. I am a LCSW and Karuna Reiki Master, and I offer Usui/Holy Fire® III Reiki classes with a focus on improving mental health. I’ve been practicing Reiki since 2016, and routinely incorporate energy healing into my therapeutic approach. I have seen the positive effects of Reiki on myself and my clients, and I am eager to share this healing technique with you.
I teach all of the information required for Reiki certification at each level. In addition, I have added detailed curriculum on chakra education and the role of the chakras in mental health and addiction. You will learn all of the information and skills needed to practice Reiki. You will also learn how to utilize this beneficial energy work to enhance mental health and addiction recovery in yourself or others. These are powerful skills that you can use to assist yourself, your loved ones, or your clients.
Current Classes
Reiki Level I for Mental Health
Class Information:
Reiki Level I for Mental Health has no prerequisite.
This is an introduction to Usui/Holy Fire® III Reiki and includes discussion of:
- What Reiki is
- The history and background of Reiki
- How Reiki heals
- How to perform Reiki on yourself and others in person
- The Reiki hand positions
- Roles of the chakras in mental health
This class was created with mental health professionals in mind, but anyone with an interest in learning to use Reiki to improve emotional wellbeing is welcome to attend. The class includes a strong component of how to use Reiki to assist with mental health concerns and addiction.
After taking the class, you will be certified in Reiki I. This is a lifetime certification that requires no renewal or additional fees. You will also have knowledge of how the chakras impact mental health, and learn strategies to target your sessions to address mental health concerns if you wish. This class is taught in person in Norcross. Class costs $225 and includes your manual and certification. Purchase your class.

Reiki Level II for Mental Health
Class Information:
Reiki Level II attendance requires Reiki Level I certificate.
This class imparts a deeper understanding of Usui/Holy Fire® III Reiki and includes:
- The three Reiki Level II symbols and how to draw them
- How to use the Reiki symbols when giving a treatment to yourself and others
- More techniques for using Reiki as a healing treatment
- How to give a long distance Reiki healing to friends, family and clients
- Giving a full reiki session using all symbols and hand positions
- Giving a full distance reiki session
- Creating a Reiki practice – forms and documentation
- Reiki Practice (hands on or distance)
- Roles of the chakras in mental health and techniques to focus on these areas
This class was created with mental health professionals in mind, but anyone with an interest in learning to use Reiki to improve emotional wellbeing is welcome to attend. You must have a Reiki I Certificate in order to attend Reiki II. The class includes a strong component of how to use Reiki to assist with mental health concerns and addiction.

About Your Instructor
I am a Karuna Reiki Master with seven years of experience practicing Reiki. I was trained at the Master level directly by William Lee Rand, founder and president of The International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT) and author of the Reiki instruction manuals. In addition, I am a LCSW with over 20 years of clinical mental health and addiction experience. I routinely use Reiki, energy work, and guided meditation in clinical practice and in my own healing, and I am excited to share Reiki with you!
